“Some journeys take you farther from where you come from, but closer to where you belong”- Ron Franscell

And the journey begins!

My journey in Amal academy started when I was done with semester examinations of my final year i.e. when I graduated from the University of Karachi. I decided to move on in my life by becoming more groomed and more skilled in different aspects of life so, I thought to register in the career prep fellowship program of Amal academy.

Yayy, I got selected for the fellowship program!

Alhamdulillah, I got selected for the fellowship program. After my selection, I was eager to learn from this academy and to polish my skills. I was willing to see the new and better version of myself at the end of this fellowship.

Every sunset brings the promise of a new dawn.

So with the setting of the sun, my new journey started in this academy. I got to meet many bright and skilled fellows here and no doubt I learned more from them. Our program manager and program associate have always been very nice to all of us in the different challenges and tasks that we were assigned in our PW tasks. I am really glad that I chose to join this program.

I become more organized

Although, in the starting 2 weeks of my journey, I learned about different skills and characters that one needs to possess to be more successful in personal and career life but, this is just one picture showing my stuff being more organized after I learned about the importance of staying well-organized.

The smallest act of kindness is worth more than the grandest intention”- Oscar Wilde

In those two weeks, another very important thing I learned was that our good deeds matter in making us a person with dignity and moral values because our small act of kindness for others can change us. We come to know about the value of little things around us and about how much these little things matter in our life. Just like the example of my small act of kindness shown above in the picture, these little creatures just need a small gesture of love from anyone and we never know but these tiny ones start praying for us in return. So, this, or any action we do for others directly or indirectly increases our morale. These good deeds leave an influential impact on our personalities.

We are nothing but stardust trying to find its way back to the stars!

It is rightly said that we are just stardust because we are like that. We can be flown away in any direction we want, we just need to find out what we want to achieve in our life then, just follow that path, and voila, you will get what you want in your life!

My experience in Amal academy has been a thrilling one, This journey was very mesmerizing for me. I overcome different challenges throughout the fellowship. In the start though, I had no idea that this fellowship was going to be this much fun for me. I did everything with full enthusiasm and passion and in the end, I created the revolutionized version of myself because:
“Life is not about finding yourself. Life is about creating yourself”

With this, I will conclude my blog, I loved the experience at Amal academy and I wish to learn more in the upcoming journeys of my life.
